Flood Victims Support

Bringing relief, recovery, and resilience to families affected by floods

When floods strike in Kamuli and surrounding districts, the destruction is overwhelming. Families lose their homes, crops, and belongings, leaving them without shelter, food, or security. Children and the elderly are especially vulnerable, often forced to live in unsafe conditions with little hope of recovery.

One Hand Mission launched the Flood Victims Support program to bring immediate relief and long-term recovery to affected communities. In the first days of disaster, we distribute emergency supplies such as food, clothing, clean water, and temporary shelter materials. Beyond emergency aid, we work side by side with families to rebuild damaged homes and restore livelihoods through community-driven recovery projects.

Our approach goes further than short-term assistance. We empower communities with disaster preparedness training and resilience strategies to reduce the impact of future floods. By doing so, we help families regain dignity, stability, and the ability to rebuild stronger than before.
